SDI Advanced Adventure Diver
Ready to go beyond the basics? The SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course is your next step toward becoming a more confident and capable diver. This course gives you a taste of five different specialty dives—including Deep and Navigation—so you can explore new environments, try out new skills, and discover what excites you most underwater. It’s the perfect way to gain experience, build confidence, and take your diving to the next level.
Who this course if for?
This course is perfect for Open Water Divers who want to explore more of what diving has to offer. Whether you’re curious about deep diving, navigation, or trying out other specialty dives, the Advanced Adventure Diver course lets you experience it all without committing to a full specialty right away. It’s ideal for divers who want to build skills, boost confidence, and get more comfortable in a variety of diving conditions.
What can you expect to learn?
In the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver course, you’ll complete five adventure dives that introduce you to different specialty areas. Two of these—Deep and Navigation—are required, and the other three are your choice. You’ll learn:

How to safely plan and execute deeper dives (up to 30 meters / 100 feet)

How to navigate underwater using a compass and natural references

Specialty skills in areas like buoyancy control, night diving, wreck diving, marine life identification, and more
This course is all about building experience while keeping things fun, flexible, and tailored to your interests.

Course Duration
The minimum course duration is

Five dives, one per chosen specialty.
- Often spread over 2 to 3 days of diving.
Extra training
If the course cannot be completed within the dives planned and further training is deemed necessary we offer additional training. The costs for this are €150,- per extra day of training.
Course prerequisites
- Minimum age of 10 years old.(10 through 17 years with parental consent)(depending on the specialties)
- SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent.
